Last Friday evening, even though it was freezing outside, we were all sitting in the cosy comfort of the Stockyard Gallery listening enthralled to Liz Rushen. Liz has a passion for the history of the women who made their way to Australia in the early and mid 1800s with little or no support from family, and some of them didn't have family.
